Meta is seeking an Executive Technical Producer to work directly with our partners & stakeholders and support the production and technical aspects of their events. This position is part of the Enterprise Engineering organization, so candidates must be passionate about Technology, live customer service, and have the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with the subject matter expertise required of tier-1 celebrity productions. Global travel is expected. This is a full-time position based in Fremont, CA.Executive Technical Producer Responsibilities Operates as executive Technical Producer, providing technical and creative direction for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of spokespeople@ and Meta Leadership events.Reviews stakeholder requests and provides technical direction for the planning, scheduling, and execution of services.Is an escalation point and contact for executive production at Meta.Leads executive production and works cross-functionally with offsite, onsite, event management & video teams.Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to elevate services to our partners.Sources, directs, and oversees work of Event Production Vendors and Audio Visual Support Vendors as well as cross-functional partners.Cultivates a network of global event resources and provides Leadership with reports on vendor performance.Easily steps into the role of Executive Producer, Technical Director, and / or Project Manager from planning to execution for all assigned events globally.Handles international shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of IT / AV support materials as well as client-specific materials.Keeps Leadership and Production teams well informed of status of event support efforts and serves as liaison between partners, vendors, and clients.Owns the technical support lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout support planning and delivery.Communicates and enforces Meta standards, creating and defining new standards as technology and scope evolves.Helps identify and vet in-region resources including, but not limited to, audio-visual service providers, venues, and remote network infrastructure support.Manages technical resources within budget and client support schedule.Consistently delivers high-quality, high-impact services to clients.Minimum Qualifications 5 years of technical event production experience in corporate and entertainment fields.4 years of equipment operation experience in live audience event environment.3 years of experience working in a project management role.2 years of experience operating Video Conferencing, Audio Conferencing, Local Audio Reinforcement, Video and Graphics Technologies (switching, and formatting), Video Recording and Camera Operation, Internet Broadcast Video Streaming, Network Infrastructure Assessment, Set design, and IT operations and Support.2 years of experience with broadcast engineering and Live Streaming.Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience with vendor assessment and management.1 years of experience working on international events.Knowledge of the benefits of the various event formats (i.e. Q&A, Training, Town Hall, Broadcast, etc.), as well as how to execute these formats.Knowledge of technical event support system architectures.For those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click here for additional information.$129,000 / year to $185,000 / year bonus equity benefits.Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
