What are the responsibilities and job description for the RF Validation Engineer position at Meta?
Meta Reality Labs (RL) develops ground breaking technology and products that push the limits of human connection. The Wearables Wireless Hardware Team within RL is on a mission to help all people feel connected, empowered, and present through seamless device connectivity, while pushing boundaries on the size, weight, power consumption, and cost (SWaP-C) of wireless sub-systems. As an RF Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for rigorous over the air (OTA) and conductive RF KPI validation testing to ensure a delightful product experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities :
- GNSS validation and execution, including A-GNSS OTA testing, record and reply function validation (field to lab).
- Antenna OTA execution across all wearable glass devices.
- Industrial benchmarking for wrist and AR glasses, to establish a baseline for our wireless design architecture and antenna architecture readiness.
- OTA Environment Correlation and maintenance of the OTA test environment for accurate data collection and carrier entry in cellular product lines.
- RF Conducted and RF Protocol Validation.
- Factory Offline Station Design and Upgrade.
- Wireless Validation Automation Maintenance, Optimization and Validation.
Minimum Qualifications :
204,000 / year to $281,000 / year bonus equity benefits
