What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Program Coordinator position at Meta?
The Site Program Coordinator is part of a team that supports the site in cultivating connections both within our internal community and across our external community. The role will also focus on how we welcome new joiners into the Meta family. The role is responsible for Community & Culture programming. The design and contributions of this role will need to take into account our multi-site, multi-business structure and need for robust cross-functional stakeholder management.This role is responsible for establishing, supporting, and executing Meta programs, events, and initiatives that bring the site together and that build Meta external brand in the city. This role will report directly to the Site Lead.The ideal candidate will have experience working with large organizations, driving strategic projects and internal culture and community programming. The person will be highly organized, a team player and be passionate about identifying improvements in current practices, designing and implementing new strategic programming, event planning and execution, office administration, including budget management and be able to track several concurrent projects through to completion.

Site Program Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinates Office Welcome programs including logistics, presentation development, and managing new hire groups.
- Owns event logistics, and execution for office social events using budget and strategy defined by Site Lead.
- Collaborates with the LA Facilities & Events Team on planning, logistics, and execution for local Company Events (TYKTWD/Summer Party/holiday party) using company-defined HR budget.
- Works with Site Lead to develop & organize calendar of events each quarter.
- Leads event production for office-wide Events as needed including All Hands, Leadership Fireside Chats and executive visits in partnership with Site Lead and event host(s).
- Collects feedback from attendees, hosts event debriefs, and compiles data on events to inform future planning efforts.
- Develops and maintains events/program wikis and micro-sites (restaurants, venues, offsite activities) and researches new additions to these categories.
- Manages purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and SOW creation in partnership with finance. Responsible for all aspects of site and event budget management with Site Lead.
- Manages Meta LA branded swag, procurement and swag onsite in storage, including managing pop-up shops to promote and distribute swag items.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in event and/or project planning for small & large organizations
- Experience prioritizing multiple projects
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Programs, Google Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Keynote, Outlook, Event, and Registration Tools
- Proficient in using virtual platforms (e.g. Zoom, FB Workplace, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Experience tracking several concurrent projects through to completion
- Experience working and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in negotiation
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience taking direction and input to develop effective event strategies that are engaging, innovative and will achieve the office goals
- Knowledgeable about regional venues, activities, and events resources
- Experience multi-tasking and changing direction quickly
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty
- Experience demonstrating diplomacy and tact
- Experience with multimedia tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva, other Illustrator applications, etc.)
