Overview
Metabolon seeks an experienced and dynamic Regional Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role will spearhead trade event management and execute targeted local marketing campaigns to engage prospects and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Regional Marketing Campaigns:
- Design and implement innovative local marketing strategies to attract potential clients and penetrate market segments.
- Collaborate with global marketing and sales teams to create campaign materials tailored to regional market dynamics and customer needs. Ensure these materials are web-ready and optimized for online search.
- Identify new accounts and expand footprint within existing accounts via advanced prospecting techniques and tools.
- Stay abreast of local competitors' behavior and ensure product positioning and local campaigns respond to challenges posed by competitors. Report on customer intelligence to global marketing and sales teams.
- Deploy local advertising, promotional activities, and direct mail and email nurture campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
Trade Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute trade shows and industry events to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
- Coordinate with vendors and venues to manage event logistics, including setup, staffing, and breakdown.
- Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Work with regional sales teams to select and order literature for trade shows and industry events.
- Analyze event performance and generate detailed reports on key metrics.
- Trade event support travel is anticipated to be 25-40%.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Optimize lead conversion and brand awareness in the region.
- Engage local KOLs, communities, and stakeholders through participation in local webinars, advisory board events, and branding initiatives.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on the performance of field marketing activities, using data to inform future marketing decisions.
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends and competitive activities.
- Manage local marketing budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience with Metabolomics or other life sciences is considered a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on field marketing and event management.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and a track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering lasting relationships with team members and external partners.
- Proficiency in marketing automation, search engine optimization, prospecting tools, and CRM tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel 25-40%
