MetaOps Inc. has customers with operations nation-wide and internationally that have periodic needs for interim or contract-to-hire talent Design Engineers that have HVAC or air handling machinery experience at all levels. Roles can be part-time or full-time plus, depending on the needs of the customer.

MetaOps Inc. is primarily an expert interim / contract talent placement firm. Successful candidates are expected to travel weekly for most assignments. We are expanding our network of Design Engineers, who are interested in contracting, contract-to-hire and potential relocation for full-time hire roles.
What you’d do
Every client we have will have different expectations, but in general you’d be responsible for taking a lead role in a wide range of activities. This could include doing research, design and project management related to facilities where design is a critical consideration.
For many assignments, there is flexibility to accommodate your personal situation is possible including 4-day work weeks on-site and fractional assignments from time to time. If you’re not local to an assignment, clients will pay reasonable travel and living expenses for the duration of the assignment.
Requirements to be considered
- 6 years total working experience in facility design-related work with progressively responsible roles.
- 5 years designing HVAC or air handling machinery systems in facilities
- A proven track-record with reference-able case study projects.
- Must have most of the following :
- Engineering Degree related to facility design.
- AutoCAD expertise.
- HVAC and air handling machinery systems experience.
- Industrial manufacturing experience.
- Project / Program Management experience.
- Leadership experience.
