The Supervisor, Warehouse & Shipping, supervises and coordinates activities of packed material in the loading dock and ensures that all essential documents and paperwork is completed properly within department.
This position will be a 3pm to 12am Monday through Friday with occassional weekends as needed.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This position will be a 3pm to 12am Monday through Friday with occassional weekends as needed.
- Reviews all orders and -necessary documentation to determine shipments, , and methods required to meet shipping schedules.
- Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Manages a team of hourly employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees
- Directs movement of shipments of internal and external goods from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
- Prepares shipping reports.
- Conducts meetings with department employees.
- Reviews records of unfilled orders.
- Issues written and oral instructions.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
- Must have regular attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 3 to 5 years of warehouse or shipping supervisory experience required.
- Shipping/packaging knowledge is preferred.
- Valid forklift operator’s license and have prior forklift experience preferred
- Experience in shipping and receiving required
- Proficient in MS Office
- ERP experience preferred; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
- Ability to problem solve
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills
- Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments
- Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
