Job Overview:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling metal components, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble metal parts, components, and structures according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Work closely with fabrication, welding, and quality teams to meet production goals.
- Operate forklifts, or material handling equipment to move parts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Fork lift experience.
- Valid Louisiana drivers license is a MUST.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and meeting production standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a PLUS.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment preferred.
