Job Overview:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling metal components, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble metal parts, components, and structures according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Work closely with fabrication, welding, and quality teams to meet production goals.
• Operate forklifts, or material handling equipment to move parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Fork lift experience.
• Valid Louisiana drivers license is a MUST.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and meeting production standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a PLUS.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
