Job Summary:
Responsible for all duties assigned to maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Ensure interior and exterior of facility is sanitary and free of trash and debris.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General and heavy cleaning to include sanitizing, sweeping, mopping or scrubbing offices, breakroom, locker rooms, and shop floor.
- Clean and stock restrooms daily
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Organize and inventory cleaning supplies and closets.
- Operate laundry equipment and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Operate mobile floor scrubber and forklift.
- Maintain equipment with daily inspections.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Must be able to continuously lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds, continually twist or bend.
- Must have the ability to work with hand tools.
- Professional work experience as a Custodian, Janitor or similar role is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
