We currently have 1st shift opportunity for a Quality Inspector, responsible creating and maintaining quality documentation while working with state-of-the-art Hexagon DEA Global Silver CMM equipment in a climate controlled area.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the planning, developing, implantation and maintenance of the Supplier Quality program.
- Assist in and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification requirements. Develop quality procedures as necessary.
- Manage vendor audits and ensure appropriate corrective action plans. Follow up with suppliers/auditors to ensure deficiencies/risks are mitigated.
- Ability to create CMM inspection programs using PCDMIS CAD software.
- Ability to use fixed CMM, Rommer Arm and Lecia Laser Tracker to inspect complex machined fixtures and parts.
- Perform deviation investigations and complete timely corrective actions.
- Maintain records of quality inspections. Develop reports as necessary.
- Ability to interpret customer’s quality control requirements.
- Work effectively with the Scheduler and Production Managers to communicate any delays or other issues including meeting product deadlines.
- Review job variances and assist with solutions.
- Develop and maintain a maintenance/calibration schedule for quality tools. Also develop procedures for calibrations and ensure procedures are followed correctly. Repair tools as necessary.
- Coordinate external calibrations as necessary.
- Provide training to other employees as necessary.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and policies.
- Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping practices.
- Create and maintain professional/respectful relationships with others. Be able to communicate effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
