This role is responsible for managing capital, production readiness, and maintenance projects, reporting directly to the Vice President of Engineering. It will involve developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and leading projects as needed. The projects will evolve from installation phases to production and continuous improvement, as this is part of a greenfield startup. Strong organizational and communication skills are critical for success.
Job Description : Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
- Develops project documents, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Prepares drawings, procures equipment, selects contractors, and ensures safe practices on assigned projects.
- Manages project schedules, Gantt charts, and master equipment lists.
- Provides progress reports and presentations to different levels of the organization.
- Oversees field installations, equipment start-ups, and modifications to existing plants.
- Develops new methods to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve product yield.
- Recommends plant layout changes and engineering designs to improve operations.
- Offers engineering support for plant maintenance and problem-solving.
- Ensures all decisions are made with safety, quality, delivery, and cost in mind.
