The Inventory Associate will manage and optimize inventory processes, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and deliveries are timely and accurate. This role involves collaboration with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure efficient inventory management and continuous process improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain consistent stock levels by ordering new stock as inventory decreases, following pre-authorized limits
- Establish and maintain backup sources for high-demand items
- Analyze inventory reports and order patterns to implement automatic or recurring deliveries for necessary items
- Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made
- Manage and optimize the inventory system, facilitating database / software upgrades under the guidance of purchasing or inventory control management
- Conduct regular spot and partial audits of physical inventory to ensure accuracy
- Assist with scheduled physical inventory audits (at least annually)
- Operate a forklift as needed for inventory handling
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to align inventory with project timelines and customer expectations
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory control efficiency and accuracy
- Perform additional related duties as requested
