Production Worker/Machine Operator

Metal Tech Industries has been making metal reinforced gasket material here in Iowa Falls since 1994. We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable team members to join our production department. The successful candidate will have a variety of duties in a growing, high precision, everchanging environment.

This position requires a high degree of accuracy, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. While production experience is not required, maintaining a teachable spirit is a necessity. You must possess a safety-first attitude and maintain a focus on quality and meeting our customers' needs. This position will sometimes operate independently, and other times will work as a part of a group, but you will always be a part of the team.

Responsibilities
- Operate machinery on the production line to meet daily production goals.
- Assemble parts using hand and power tools according to specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management and material handling.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to achieve production targets.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to work efficiently on an assembly line
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is a plus
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Forklift operation skills are advantageous but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
