Warehouse / Shipping-Receiving Associate
We are looking for a motivated, reliable team player to join our Warehouse Team.
JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
· Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and count
· Weigh or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
· Use computer to use online Fed Ex and UPS shipping process
· Drive 24 Ft Box Truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
· All functions related to shipping of manufactured goods, assemble cardboard or wooden containers. Stamp, stencil, or glue identifying information and print labels with shipping instructions on to containers.
· Receive, store and issue material, supplies, merchandise, and compile records in stockroom, warehouse or storage area.
· Fill orders or issue materials from stock. Compile reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes or damage of shipments received.
· Move or transport materials or supplies using available material handling equipment such as pallet mover, fork lift truck. Load and unload incoming or outgoing materials.
· Prepare periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to effectively use basic computer functions (such as printing, reports, and using shipping websites) - Required
· Experience with Fed Ex and UPS ONLINE shipping - Preferred
· Basic Math Skills - Required (there is a test for basic math competency)
· ForkliftExperience is - Preferred
· Experience in a Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving environment - Required
· RELIABILITY and timeliness is a MUST
· MUST be a US Permanent Resident or US Citizen - Due to US ITAR / Export Control Regs - Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.86 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
