SUMMARY
Oversees shipping, receiving, inventory, and order preparation to meet customer requirements and business needs.
- Controls and manages the departments by identifying work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Ensure work meets accuracy, quality, and customer shipping and packaging requirements.
- Standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
- Ensure correct shipment of all jobs has been completely processed and verified accurately through quality with the correct required paperwork.
- Have constant communication with our suppliers and internal departments to ensure delivery on time.
- Interact with our vendors and the sales department to address their needs, inquiries and requests.
- Review and monitor production schedules, ordering systems and acting on order releases to meet our overall goal of customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with our company policy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must have very strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Will be computer proficient.
- Experience with shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.
- Experience in managing teams and fostering productivity.
- Knowledge of shipping, packaging, and quality assurance standards.
- Proficiency in streamlining processes to improve workforce efficiency and output.
- Skilled in stakeholder management to foster effective collaboration with vendors and the sales department.
- Ability to learn and work in IFS
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Must have basic knowledge of the metric system.
- Must work in and develop and maintain a 5S environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to identify, implement, and monitor work procedures and schedules.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or Materials Management) or related field from an accredited college, university and 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly manages the team and ensures compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, occasionally stoop, kneel and/or climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Ability to maneuver up to 200 lbs. independently and to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure is frequent to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles - eye protection is required, and fumes, machine vibration, and noisy conditions, high temperatures, and occasional to a restricted space work area. All KEEL locations are tobacco free where appropriate.
