What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Metal Works Inc?
Here we grow again! Fall into a great position with a dynamite team! Metal Works is looking to add an Estimator to the team and you must have Sheet Metal experience.
This is a full time position on first shift. The hours are 7-3:30pm Monday through Friday.
The responsibility of the estimator is to determine the value of sheet metal product by utilizing provided software and industry experience. Please review the following key highlights for this estimating position.
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Maintains contact and relationships with private individuals and other organizations.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Basic SolidWorks CAD knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of sheet metal industry.
