Groundskeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for landscape maintenance, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting.

Duties

• Maintain the overall appearance of the landscape by performing regular lawn care, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
• Perform landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance garden aesthetics.
• Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure healthy growth and sustainability.
• Monitor the condition of outdoor areas, identifying any issues that require attention or repair.
• Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency on the job.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping is essential.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and lawn care practices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
