What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Torch Operator position at Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc.?
CNC Torch Operator must be able to read blueprints and drawings. Must be able to operate a CNC cutting machine and have an understanding of the specific speeds, fuel settings, tips and plasma consumables required to cut various thicknesses of steel.
Should be able to operate all equipment needed in the work area such as overhead and wall cranes, hand torches, electro-magnets, etc. Must also be able to effectively use hand tools such as calipers, tape measures, hand torch and travel torch.
The perfect candidate will also have Level C or B skills in Welding or Mechanics
Must be able to read and understand work orders.
