Title: Parts Assistant
We are seeking a Part-Time Parts Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Part-Time Parts Assistant is to assist Materials Coordinator and Warehouse Technician tract, pact and prepare parts for shipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Dependable transportation
Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs
Industrial warehousing and/or mining equipment related experience
Mechanical aptitude
Experience operating a forklift
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Candidate must be able and willing to:
- Receive and stock incoming material (including handling the associated paperwork)
- Maintain stock room and its organization
- Assist in gathering parts for shipping
- Prepping and packaging parts for shipment
- Maintain stock of production and safety supplies
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Clerical
Miscellaneous filing, scanning and keyboarding
Other
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of work experience
· Detail-oriented, organized and able to work with speed and accuracy
· Must be proficient in repetitive work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
