We are seeking a highly skilled applicant with management experience in the industrial setting to join our team at Metalico in Akron, Ohio, a leading full-service scrap metal recycler in the Northeastern United States. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in scrap metal recycling, and attention to detail and accuracy. Must be willing to work multiple shifts.
Summary :
The purpose of the Operations Manager in Training position is to learn our business from the ground up. This position is to support operations management for all ferrous the non-ferrous units with the objective of maintaining a safe, organized and tidy facility. In addition, recommend ways to maximize profits, meet quality standards, set production goals and build teamwork.
