Entry Level CNC Machine Operator
Metallus is seeking an Entry Level CNC Machine Operator to join our team at our Eaton, OH location.
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to learn CNC machining processes, procedures, and production skills to ensure the accuracy and consistency of products meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily production and production-related tasks with a high emphasis on quality.
- Monitor and adjust CNC machinery as required; conduct quality checks as outlined in process control plans and work instructions.
- Become familiar with specifications, document control processes, and/or work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on CNC machines.
- Record physical production, inventory changes, and complete all process control and quality documentation as required.
- Recommend, support, and help implement plant continuous improvement projects and problem-solving efforts.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing machining, preferably CNC machining.
- Ability to work overtime and/or weekends if needed.
- Ensures safety is the number one priority for themselves and others by following plant safety standards.

Work Environment:
Manufacturing work environment with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as wet and/or humid conditions. Operates forklift and similar machinery and equipment.
