Job Description
The Production / Loading Technician is responsible for the operations of all machinery required to produce high quality products, following all safety guidelines.
Essential Functions:
· Responsible for producing defect free product accurately following work orders
· Move product to proper storage location with fork truck and combi-lift
· Daily use of overhead crane in conjunction with moving product
. Loading and unloading products onto flatbed trucks as needed
· Forklift usage necessary
· Basic understanding of machine controls
· Ability to properly fill out production records using basic math functions
· Keep work area safe and clean
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality
· Complete all other tasks as required or assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or upper management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
· Must be able to work at heights over 5’10”
· Crane and forklift skills are preferred
· Must be able to work overtime hours
· Must be able to work outside on shipping yard as needed
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The person in this position must be able to lift 60 pounds or more. They must be able to adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time. This position will require eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate heavy machinery. While in the shop, company safety requirements must be closely followed.
