Responsibilities:

- Review and verify invoices for accuracy as well as match receiving documents and
- POs to corresponding invoices
- Sort, code, voucher, and upload invoices into the software system
- Prepare and perform check runs on a weekly basis
- Monitor vendor accounts to assure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve any invoices discrepancies and issues (this includes correspondence with vendors)
- Regular and predictable attendance is required to perform the duties of an accounts payable clerk.

- Prepare and assist with items for month end close
- In the event of an audit, help gather requested documentation
- Day-to-day tasks such as price checking, filing, etc.
- Use the proprietary software for processing invoices.

General Requirements:
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a computerized accounting environment
- Good communication skills (both oral and written)
- Basic typing skills
- Ability to access all areas of the office to get supplies, use files and office equipment needed to perform job
- Ability to read and write English Language
- Ability to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures
- Must exercise a reasonable degree of judgment and possess the ability to recognize appropriate company policies that apply in each situation and follow them.
Physical Activity Required for this Position:
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit or stand for (at least) 8 hours a day for (at least) five days a week.
- Must be capable of lifting weights of (at least) twenty- five (25) pounds from (at least) six (6) foot heights.
