What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stacker Operator | 2nd Shift position at Metals USA?
Metals USA is seeking a candidate to fill a Warehouse Stacker position on 2nd Shift in their Randleman, NC facility. Duties will include:
- Package bundles by placing metal strapping around the width and length of the material
- Properly place paper corner protectors to par specifications to protect the customers' material
- Use packaging equipment to tighten the metal strapping around the bundles
- Check parts to ensure correct size was produced
- Stacking material coming of the line
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Basic Mathematics skills
- Ability to read and write English Language
- Ability to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures as well as OSHA standards and regulations
- Must exercise a reasonable degree of judgment and possess the ability to recognize appropriate company policies that apply in each situation and follow them
- Must be able to read measuring tape and caliper
