Job Description
Position Title : Assembly Operations Supervisor 2nd Shift
Purpose of Position : Coordinate and oversee rotation of production activities in the production and quality departments.
Functions of the Position :
Evaluate and monitor assembly processes, ensuring Takt Time is being met
Facilitate and develop topics for communication at daily safety and area meetings
Monitor standardized work is being followed
Maintain and update Work Instruction Sheets as needed
Conduct Layered Audits and 5S Audits
NP Sign offs
Standard work Audits
Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change
Academic and Experience Criteria :
Associate degree industrial related or 5 years of industry experience in operations
2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing automotive (or related field), robotic welding and / or MIG welding
Minimum 2 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor in industrial manufacturing
Microsoft Office, Kronos, and ADP Proficiency required
Experience in shipping / receiving, blueprint, and CMM preferred
Auditing experience preferred
