In this job, you'll help keep our coating systems running smoothly—whether that's testing and adjusting chemicals, monitoring tanks and filters, or making sure everything’s working the way it should. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious E-Coat Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience with e-coating, electroplating, or similar systems and a strong understanding of chemical processes and industrial equipment. This role is critical in maintaining process control and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our coating and wastewater systems. What Your Day Will Look Like: * Maintain complete process control and line operations, including: o Performing titrations and making chemical adjustments o Monitoring and maintaining tank levels o Changing bag filters and flushing ultra-filters o Conducting tank dumps, clean-outs, and initial chemical additions o Running test parts/panels for analysis o Monitoring process conditions (tank chemistry, temperature, etc.) * Complete daily line equipment and lab check sheets * Assist in troubleshooting and process problem-solving * Operate forklifts to transport and handle chemicals safely * Record and track department KPIs; maintain display boards and required reports * Monitor and report mechanical/process issues in e-coat and wastewater systems * Maintain chemical inventories per established procedures * Perform operational duties for wastewater treatment systems when assigned * Conduct oven cleanings as per preventive maintenance schedules * Operate and maintain reverse osmosis (R.O.) unit * Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation What You’ll Need: * High school diploma or GED * Two years of verifiable experience in one or more of the following: o E-coat/Electroplating systems or relevant systems o Industrial/wastewater treatment and testing o Basic laboratory procedures and testing * Basic PC skills * Proven experience in chemical handling * Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces * Ability to perform cleaning duties to include equipment and area to ensure department quality and safety. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications * Degree or certification(s) related to the chemical industry * Some knowledge of PLCs, motors, and pumps.
