Mission/Objective: Ensure facility compliance with the Corporate EH&S standards with regulatory requirements
What does your day look like?
- Conduct EH&S audits and provides support and direction for corrective action
- Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance for facility
- Manage EH&S training database for facility
- Monitor and coordinate facility EH&S permitting and legal compliance
- Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents.
- Create improvements in processes, design, procedures and programs to minimize risk
- Maintain and improve safety management programs
- Work effectively as a team player and leader achieving plant goals
- Communicate safety goals and objectives to plant personnel
- Manage the QSI software database
- Training team members on relevant EH&S work instructions
- Cost estimating, cost control and cost savings from safety improvements
- Continuous Improvement of the EH&S Management System
- Coordinate all safety teams to achieve plant goals
- Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

Academic and Experience
- Associate degree in EH&S or related field, or combination of education and related experience (Required)
- 10 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Required).
- Strong knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations (Required).
- Experience with Environmental System and management
- Experience with ISO 14001 standard and ISO 45001
- Experience ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of Local, State and Federal environmental regulations
- Proven leadership in deploying practices, training tools/methodologies, or leading problem-solving initiatives within a Management Operating System (MOS).
Technical Skills
- Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
