We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and repair precision tools, dies, and fixtures based on specifications.
- Operate machinery including lathes, milling machines, and electrical discharge machining equipment.
- Utilize AutoCAD for creating schematics and detailed drawings of tooling designs.
- Employ precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Program CNC machines for automated tool production.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.
- Weld components as necessary to complete tooling projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, and other relevant machinery.
- Strong understanding of programming CNC machines.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software for design purposes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
