Job Description:
Metaltech, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Development Lead to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will play a crucial role in advancing our conventional powder metal part manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on the automotive sector. Assist Quality Manager in maintaining policies, procedures, work instructions and quality records. Responsible for Internal Auditing as Lead Auditor and oversees Internal Audit Team. Maintain Internal Auditing Records and participate in outside (3rd party) audits of the facility. Aide in production tracking for department areas for statistical data control. Act as a backup for Quality Technician when Quality Tech is unavailable.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in powder metal manufacturing processes.
- In-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 (MAQMSR) quality standards. Internal Auditing Certification for ISO 9001:2015 And IATF 16949:2016 a plus.
- Familiarity with quality procedures such as APQP, PPAP development, SPC, and non-destructive test methods.
- Proficiency in operating CMM Keyence machines.
- Previous experience as a quality technician would be very helpful.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
