Description
Works primarily as an assistant on major repair jobs but is expected to do minor repair jobs assigned. Performs all routine tasks of the department, including temp sticks, wire pulls, assists in preventive maintenance routes, and minor electrical repairs. Should possess basic maintenance skills, be mechanically inclined, and be able to use hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / Equivalent
- Possess basic maintenance skills
- Able to use hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Positive attitude, dependable, and has a willingness to learn and help others
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Lift, push, and pull heavy items
- Availability for shift work and overtime required
- Other duties as assigned
