What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Human Resources position at MetalTek?
The HR Manager provides HR leadership to the facility. This includes support of MetalTek’s safety culture, management of the recruitment and selection activities, compensation and benefits administration, compliance with applicable employment laws, and management of the HR team. The HR Manager will also be responsible for investigating employee concerns, ensuring training of employees, managing workers’ compensation claims, managing the employee performance program, coordinating communications, planning events, and coaching and counseling employees at all levels on various HR topics.
This position is responsible for ensuring not only compliance with employment laws but managerial alignment to the spirit of MetalTek’s culture and commitment to fairness and respect in employee relations matters.
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have at least a four-year degree in Business, HR, or a related field of study with at least 8 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment in a managerial role. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong computer skills are essential
