What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Forming Operator position at Metalworks Inc.?
Summary: The Robot Forming Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all robotically automated forming cells.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM with mandatory OT when applicable. TRAINING ON FIRST SHIFT until objectives are met (Monday-Thursday 5:30AM-4PM with mandatory OT when applicable.
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Set up new jobs on all cells.
- Troubleshoot of faults experienced during automated production.
- Inspect parts.
- Non-conforming part quarantine and labeling.
- Handle material via forklift
- Lift 25 lbs. repetitively
Qualifications:
- At least two years of previous manufacturing experience is required
- At least one year of forklift experience
- Print reading experience is beneficial
- Basic math
- Good communication skills is a must
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows
