Description:
Our General Labor Summer Help is an important role that will assist operations in the daily housekeeping. In this role, you will be expected to proactively clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop and keep office area and walkways clean and free of debris
- Basic landscaping of front exterior, including picking up trash, pulling and spraying weeds
- Washing of windows, doors and walls
- Painting of walls, pipes, and floors as directed
- Assist with the sorting of materials
- Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Procedures and Company Policies
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of listening and following directions
- Able to fulfill full 8-week assignment
Physical Requirements
- Work requires use of hands, standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or reaching with arms and hands
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to physical operations in scrap recycling facilities, including walking/climbing in active industrial yards with uneven surfaces in inclement weather
