Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Technical Consultant with strong expertise in PL / SQL, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting Oracle-based applications to meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Development :
Develop, customize, and optimize PL / SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support application requirements.
Design and develop Oracle Reports and XML Publisher (BI Publisher) reports based on business needs.
Create and manage Oracle Workflows to streamline business processes.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and related customizations.
Develop interfaces between Oracle applications and third-party systems using APIs, SQL, and PL / SQL.
Solution Design & Implementation :
Gather requirements from functional teams and stakeholders to design technical solutions.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure technical designs align with functional requirements and Oracle best practices.
Optimize and tune PL / SQL code for performance and scalability.
Support & Maintenance :
Provide technical support for Oracle applications, including incident resolution and system enhancements.
Monitor and maintain Oracle workflows to ensure they are functioning efficiently.
Prepare technical documentation for custom solutions, workflows, and reports.
Qualifications and Experience :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
10 years of experience as an Oracle Technical Consultant or similar role.
Hands-on experience with Oracle PL / SQL, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow.
Experience with Oracle EBS modules like Financials, HRMS, SCM, or Procurement is an advantage.
Technical Skills :
Expertise in PL / SQL programming, including query optimization and complex stored procedures.
Proficiency in creating Oracle Reports, RDF reports, and XML Publisher (BI Publisher).
Strong knowledge of Oracle Workflow Builder and Workflow APIs.
Familiarity with Oracle Forms and OAF (Oracle Application Framework) is a plus.
Experience with Oracle APIs, interfaces, and data conversion tools.
