Senior UI Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Developer with strong proficiency in JavaScript and React to join our team in Plano, TX. This is an onsite, contract-based role for 9 months with a possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building responsive and high-performance user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy dynamic user-facing features using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Troubleshoot and debug UI issues and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Implement responsive design principles for seamless user experience across devices.

Work with REST APIs and handle asynchronous data integration effectively.

Follow Agile development practices and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

10 years of hands-on UI development experience, with a strong emphasis on JavaScript and React.js.

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, ES6 , and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or similar.

Familiarity with build tools and version control systems (Webpack, Babel, Git, etc.).

Experience in writing unit tests using Jest, Enzyme, or other test frameworks.

Knowledge of UI performance optimization and accessibility standards.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with TypeScript.

Familiarity with backend integration using Node.js or similar frameworks.

Exposure to Figma, Zeplin, or other design tools.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
