- Contributing to mechanical design, layout, and prototype development for new products
- Interfacing directly with outside contractors to define and document production assembly processes
- Supporting the marketing team with drawings, graphics, renderings, and product data
- Conceiving, researching, and implementing engineering design changes to improve manufacturability, reliability, and cost based on data-driven input
- Providing mechanical engineering support to solve problems on the manufacturing floor
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Mid-level to senior-level experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in either Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
- Background in mechanical packaging design using sheet metal, machined parts, and injection moldable plastics
- Ability to perform thermal calculations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
