As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play an intriguing role in identifying qualified patients for our Chronic Disease Management program. The Data Entry Specialist will collaborate with the Enrollment Team and directly report to the Enrollment Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Utilize EHR to review all clinical observations, information, and updates
· Determine patient eligibility for Chronic Care Management
· Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
· Demonstrate an ability to listen and communicate with others in a professional and caring manner including sensitivity with individuals
· Demonstrate an ability to set priorities for tasks to work effectively despite interruptions and under minimal supervision
· Maintains strict confidentiality, following HIPPA regulations
Skills and Abilities:
· Knowledge of examinations, diagnostic and treatment procedures
· Knowledge of medical practice and medical terminology
· Ability to work independently, while collaborating with other team members
· Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and protocols
· Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and be willing to invest in a change process to improve efficiencies
· Ability to pay close attention to detail
· Can navigate multiple systems at once
· Strong computer skills
· Adaptable to change
Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (required)
- 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft 365, EMR/EHR, Windows operating system, and laptop/desktop professional experience (required).
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Interest in Chronic Care Management delivered through telehealth platforms.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
