Job Description
Metasense, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a challenging travel nursing opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment skills: Provide patient care that meets the needs of patients from pediatric to geriatric age groups.
- Clinical Skills: Deliver direct patient care and perform emergency procedures competently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with guidelines.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures, and identify areas for growth.
- Patient Satisfaction: Respond professionally to patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive environment.
- Safety: Follow National Patient Safety Goals and maintain confidentiality according to HIPPA guidelines.
- Unit Specific Job Function: Individualize patient care based on procedure and type of anesthesia.
- Responsibility and Accountability: Prioritize patient care based on needs and changes in condition.
- Patient Education and Chart Completion: Assess patient understanding of surgical procedures and provide education.
- Duties Specific to PAT RN: Evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders and support timely completion of testing.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in Critical Care/Cardiac or ED
- BLS - Required
- RN License - Required
- ACLS - Required
- PALS - Required for pediatric ER only
