Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Summary : MRI technologists run the magnetic resonance imaging scanner to create a diagnostic image for the physician. They maintain imaging equipment and ensure that their patients are protected and in an optimal position for imaging. They must work closely with the physician by taking medical histories, keeping records and adjusting the scanner as directed. Preferred Skills & Experience : -Needs at least a year of experience. -Two (2) years of experience as a Technologist in Imaging Services preferred. Required Education : -Associate’s Degree in Applied Science Required Certification & Licensure : -Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. -Current BLS Certifications & Licenses : ARRT BLS MetaSense, Inc.
