Compact - Travel RN (ARIZONA)

Position: RN (All Specialties like - ER, PCU, ICU, Med/Surg Tele, L&D, )

Contract: 13 Weeks

Hours: 36 or 40 Hours

Location: Arizona

Shift: Days, Nights, and Evenings

Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings, including urgent care and teaching hospitals.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient’s health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving the facility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including those requiring dementia care and catheter care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with medical office standards.
• Stay informed about workers compensation law as it pertains to patient care and treatment.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of practice; travel nursing experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Experience in urgent care or teaching hospital environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in discharge planning and familiarity with dementia care practices.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education.
• Must be willing to travel as needed for assignments.
