The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Mortgage Service Delivery is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence within Mortgage Services. This position will oversee service delivery production planning, implementation and compliance. Responsibilities will also include driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to optimize resources, improve cost-efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
- Partners with the Service Delivery Leadership Team to ensure that mortgage services are aligned strategically to achieve strategic goals.
- Oversees all aspects of operational performance, including output planning, staff modeling, budgeting, cost controls, productivity, labor efficiency to enhance profitability within service level agreements.
- Develops and is accountable for the successful achievement of measurable financial and operational success factors within mortgage operations.
- Evaluates and reports on performance against strategic and operational goals; identify variances and takes corrective action.
- Provides daily, tactical leadership to Managers and teams to ensure consistent execution of business plans and standard operating procedures.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce operating costs, and improve quality and delivery metrics.
- Analyzes rework data and operational KPIs to drive process improvement and resource optimization.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Revenue, Technology, and Administration to align operations with enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Serves as a key representative of the company to clients and strategic partners, supports business development, contract renewals, and other client success efforts.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across all operational teams.
- Motivates, develops, and leads teams across multiple office locations and virtual/remote employees to achieve production, quality, and performance metrics.
- 10 years of leadership and mortgage lending operations experience and bachelor's degree in a related discipline; or any comparable combination of education and experience within the mortgage industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of agency guidelines for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA. Non-QM product/programs knowledge also desired.
- Prior experience and advanced-level knowledge in mortgage industry operations to include managing underwriting, compliance, quality control, servicing, and due diligence production teams with multiple channel focuses (retail, wholesale, correspondent, capital markets).
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with experience in performance management, budgeting, and process improvement.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaboration, and practical execution.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory environments relevant to the firm’s industry sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Mortgage industry certifications (e.g. CMB, FHA DE, VA LAPP, CMCP, CFTEA)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
