Description :
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards within MetaSource’s mortgage services by conducting internal quality reviews of loan files, processes, and operational procedures. This role involves auditing loan documentation, identifying defects and inconsistencies, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, investor guidelines, agency regulations, and internal company standards. The QA Analyst will collaborate with various departments to implement corrective actions, track trends, and enhance process efficiency as needed.
Description :
- Conduct internal quality control audits of MetaSource services to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
- Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor and agency requirements (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA) when applicable.
- Analyze audit findings to identify root causes of errors, inconsistencies, and compliance risks within loan files.
- Ensure internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) align with Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Committee-approved guidelines.
- Perform Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual QA review cycles, documenting findings, identifying trends, and providing insights to enhance service quality.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including scorecards, department performance summaries, and deficiency trend analysis when needed.
- Collaborate with Mortgage Services Compliance to identify risk areas, escalate process gaps, and develop remediation strategies.
- Document and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to address identified deficiencies and prevent recurring issues.
- Work closely with department managers to design and implement targeted training programs based on audit findings.
- Support continuous process improvement by analyzing data, identifying operational inefficiencies, and making actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions, ensuring that appropriate training and process improvements are applied effectively.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of QA policies, audit procedures, compliance checklists, and tracking tools.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of QA findings, corrective actions, and discretionary reviews within OneNote Service & Client Profiles.
