What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician position at Metasys Inc?
Must Have Skills: Microsoft OS, Desktop and Laptop imaging, troubleshooting and support. Other hardware experience such as Mobile devices, and printers and scanners are a plus but not required. Needs to have experience imaging computers, software troubleshooting and support. This is not a remote “help desk” role, it is a Desktop Support role “boots on the ground” in person support and will possibly have some travel involved. This position will be heavy in imaging, customer communications, asset tracking, and ticketing.
Preferred knowledge: AD, InTune, MDM, Azure, Remedy, SCCM, o365
Knowledge of software applications and hardware is required. Customer Service Skills: Possesses a broad understanding of customers technical needs and of how to meet those needs. Technical: Has the ability to translate that knowledge gained by education and/or experience into benefits for the customer. Expert communicator: Must be a great listener. Communicates early and often with the customer keeping them informed of the situation. Judgement: Ability to respond to multiple customer and employee/contractor requests or demands. Teamwork: Willingly cooperates and works collaboratively towards solutions that generally benefit all parties and accomplishes company/group objectives. Communication Skills: must be fluent in English, speak clearly and can be understood as this is a customer facing/often in-person position. Travel 10-15% of the time using own personal vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage, and other travel expenses based on the guidelines of the hiring organization. Proven customer support skills required. In person interview process.
