Sr. Applications Developer Java/Angular

Overview:

Client is seeking a Senior Applications Developer with expertise in Java and Angular for modifying the CallNavi program and adding functionalities for data transfer to MUFG. The position is for on-site work in New York, with a preference for a hybrid role in Sophos Colombia in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Modify and enhance the CallNavi program (written in .Net and Java)
• Implement data transfer functionalities to MUFG using FTP
• Develop and manage MS SQL, ETL processes, and stored procedures
• Automate processes using Shell Scripts
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and data management activities

Requirements:

• 10 years of development experience in .Net, Java, and Angular
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL, ETL, and stored procedures
• Experience with FTP and Shell Scripting
• Experience in banking applications and regulatory reporting
• Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• On-site availability in New York is required (with potential for hybrid in Colombia in the future)
• Experience with DMICF (Data Management Integrated Controls Framework) is a plus
