Purchasing Project Coordinator/Contract Administrator
Onsite 3 days in Westminster, CO and remote 2 days per week
4 Month contract
Great opportunity to gain Workday experience! In this role, you will be the Project Manager for a conversion to the strategic sourcing module in Workday. While running point on the project and working with the Workday implementation team, you will be responsible for handling the uploading of contracts and documents into the system and assisting with contracts related to divestitures. You will also help with testing the new sourcing tool and ensuring that metadata is mapping correctly. Must have some project management/project coordination experience as well as contracts experience. Workday experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Project manage all procurement-related workday tool implementation working closely with the Workday team.
Lead sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management, and portfolio management events across multiple categories that require divestiture language and terms.
Analyze data and metrics to drive the development of our new tool
Coordinate and perform contract reviews alongside Legal and business partners
Develop relationships with team members and stakeholders across Maxar
Potential for broad exposure to multiple indirect/corporate categories including Facilities, Marketing, Professional Services, Talent Acquisition, IT and HR
Participate in supporting Category Manager with special projects and ad hoc requests
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
At least 3-5 years of experience in contract management preferably in the procurement space.
Knowledge of sourcing, category management, supplier management, spend analytics and/or market intelligence
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with SharePoint or other file-sharing tools.
Experience with contract management or CLM tools is a plus.
Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading significant service sourcing events and contract negotiations (in excess of $500K)
Prior knowledge of indirect corporate categories is beneficial. Potential categories include facilities, marketing, HR, professional services, IT
Familiar with e-procurement tools – sourcing, contract management, spend analytics, risk management, and transactional P2P applications
