Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in on-premise and cloud environments.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline administrative tasks and system management.
- Assess, enhance, and provide recommendations for Linux SUDO management.
- Work with system administration and infrastructure teams to improve security, efficiency, and oversight.
- Troubleshoot and optimize OS performance, databases, load balancers, and storage systems.
- Utilize CI/CD tools to automate build and deployment processes.
- Support and manage containerized solutions (Podman, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate across functional teams and participate in on-call rotations.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably in a VMware environment.
- Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related utilities.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git/Bitbucket Enterprise, Jira/Confluence, and Ansible.
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- AWS cloud server administration experience is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across OS, applications, networks, and storage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work off-hours as needed and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Experience with container-based solutions (Podman, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in full systems development lifecycle and security best practices.
- Ability to conduct deep-dives into operating systems, databases, and networking issues.
