Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join the Agile development and execution team focused on regulatory systems. This team ensures accurate and timely reporting of cross-border package data to local government agencies in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves designing, coding, and testing both new features and maintaining existing systems within a microservices architecture.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and OpenShift
Build microservices to support regulatory and compliance reporting
Conduct unit testing and peer code reviews
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-Client, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Work on frontend features using Angular
Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members
Technical Environment
Backend: Java, Microservices, OpenShift, WebLogic
Frontend: Angular
Cloud & DevOps: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Jenkins, Azure DevOps
Source Control & Build: Azure DevOps, Maven, JFrog Artifactory
Messaging & Processing: IBM WMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, Batch Jobs
Database: Microsoft SQL Server
Requirements
6–8 years of Full Stack Java development experience – Mandatory
4–5 years of experience with Webservices / Microservices on OpenShift – Mandatory
4–5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server – Mandatory
4–5 years of experience with MQ technologies (IBM WMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ) – Mandatory
Familiarity with WebLogic, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, JFrog Artifactory
Strong understanding of Agile methodology
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
