Technical Application Specialist (TAS)

6 Month Contract
Client is seeking a Technical Application Specialist (TAS) for a 6-month contract starting immediately. This role supports and drives key Services initiatives including MIF Retention and Wallet Share (Volume Building and Lead Generation).
Responsibilities
Conduct training on client devices, color and high-volume units, and applications, including customized or advanced sessions when required.
Install and configure print drivers, register customers for the company website, and explain service and supply request processes.
Identify under-utilized systems and assist customers printing under 30% of Total Document Volume to increase usage.
Perform site surveys, customer demos, workflow observations, and solution presentations to support Inside Sales.
Follow up on training feedback to ensure satisfaction; maintain relationships with customers and Ricoh personnel.
Seek volume-building opportunities; conduct follow-up visits to ensure usage increases and sustained benefits.
Identify and share sales leads with Sales and Network Services.
Account for activities using Activity Tracking system.
Schedule visits and training sessions based on territory and account priority; may travel regionally for installations.
Execute a monthly plan meeting on-site training and TDV visit targets.
Present a professional image in dress and behavior.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
4-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
CompTIA CTT Certification within 12 months of hire; Virtual CTT within 18 months.
Advanced computer/connectivity knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Valid driver s license and required auto insurance coverage (if travel required).
Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage time, territory, and responsibilities without direct supervision.
Experience with office imaging products, networks, and data communications.
Methodical approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
Business Casual dress code.
Interview process includes virtual first round, followed by in-person second interview.
