Dispatch- Truck Driver

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery orders from the dispatch team and follow assigned routes to reach construction sites.
• Work closely with the dispatcher to coordinate delivery schedules and any changes in delivery orders.
• Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of concrete materials and equipment to the specified locations.
• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Reporting defects, accidents, and violations
• Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
• Loading and unloading of materials
• Interacting with field foreman in a professional manner
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
• Recording cargo deliveries
• Verifying loads for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Safely loads, transport, and unload concrete materials and equipment at construction sites.
• Notify the Mechanic shop when equipment needs serviced or repaired.

• Load and unload cargo not limited to, but including light and heavy construction equipment and concrete, forming equipment , ensuring the security and safety of supplies/equipment. 
• Ensure Equipment are refueled and in working order.
• Inspect forms and items for defect for repair.
• Put things away as needed at the shop to keep cleanliness and orderliness

• Performs other duties as assigned.
