Job Title: Guest Services // 4D Ride Operator
Location: Meteor Crater, AZ
Department: Museum Collision
Reports to: Supervisors, Director of Operations, VP of Operations
Position Overview:
As a Collision Ride Operator, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring safe, organized, and enjoyable ride experiences at Meteor Crater Visitor Center Attractions. You will assist in operating and maintaining equipment, managing groups, and performing opening and closing duties. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and direct groups of guests during rides, ensuring safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized attraction environment.
- Calibrate and clean equipment regularly, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support team members, including covering breaks and training new staff.
- Communicate directly with guests, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism.
- Participate in staff meetings and assist with equipment maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; must be 18 years or older.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience in a public setting or with equipment operation is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting in a public, high-energy setting with moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility in scheduling is needed to meet the demands of the role.
