SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Learning Experience Coordinator provides instructional knowledge and leadership on project design teams. The role participates on internal team and client calls with interior design and sales overseeing the instructional message throughout interactions with the Design Team and the client. The Learning Experience Coordinator is also committed to ensuring client-focused instructional input into the design of classroom environments for Educationally Sound Learning Environments and providing teacher on-boarding support on how to leverage their new environment through the lens of student-centered learning while activating the need for teacher training and coaching.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Due to onsite training and support, travel is required.
• Provides instructional support, guidance, and leadership to the design team per the Learning Design Principles and Framework.
• Implements the Instructional Design discovery process in accordance with the client journey to discover the client’s desired instructional plan.
• Summarizes and synthesizes instructional information and produces a written document with pertinent educational information/language for publication.
• Communicates the instructional design deliverables from team and client meetings.
• Leads the design team to create environments per the client’s desired instructional plan and the environmental support needed for those interactions and experiences.
• Ensures alignment with research and Learning Design Principles with all design projects.
• Initiates alignment conversations with Managing Director around all projects.
• Maintains ongoing and effective communication with internal project team members.
• Initiates and maintains communication with clients in accordance with the client journey.
• Conducts teacher on-boarding training and/or support for projects.
• Conducts observations/prepares reports for clients using Meteor’s Measured Learning Environment Tool(s)
• Serves as liaison for the development of the Learning Experiences proposals for Learning Experiences Training and Support.
• In addition to studio meetings, attends regularly scheduled meetings through Meteor’s Global Services Support (GSS) Learning Experience department
• In addition to studio meetings, attends regularly scheduled meetings/trainings with the LEC PDX (Professional Development Experience) for ongoing support
• Articulately and correctly communicates the Meteor instructional brand message.
• Willingly engages in training and coaching to become well-versed in the Meteor instructional message, aligned research, the Design Team process, and the Learning Experiences Coordinator’s role.
